Rome at it's Finest

Yep, it's that city. The one with history on every corner, pizza in every restaurant and a different aura at every sunrise. And I got to spend a week there. At my school, we get to travel abroad in the fifth year, and me and my friends chose the centre of many ancient cultural interest. 
Other than lots of 'old things' there's also plenty of Italian romance, delightful shops and (undiscovered) places to be.

Why "a perfume shouldn't smell like flowers" & Chanel Couture

When you are at least slightly keeping up with what's going on in the fashion world, even if it's simply through instagram posts or articles on facebook, you will know when couture hits Paris. While the list of officials is ever so changing (Wikipedia is remarkably outdated), there are a few names that have stayed on the list steady as rocks. One of which is Chanel, currently and still run by Mr. Lagerfeld, and ever so daunting in appearance and luxury. More than a mere fashion emperium, it has become a symbol more than anything. But I don't have to tell you that, now do I, dear reader? I am merely here to discuss what has occurred right before us.
